NORWALK, CT — Three popular retail chains have put up signs teasing new stores opening soon at the SoNo Collection mall in Norwalk, two of which are planned to open this fall.
Hot Topic, a mostly fashion-focused company aimed at teens and young adults, is advertising the opening of a new store on the mall’s third floor near the recently opened Häagen-Dazs scoop shop.
A large sign indicating the company “is expanding to a larger store and will reopen fall 2024” could be seen by customers at the mall Thursday afternoon.
Also on the third floor, baby and kids’ apparel brand Carter’s has put up a sign teasing the opening of a new store this fall.
Carter’s currently operates a store in the Strawberry Hill Shopping Center, near the Westport border, at 542 Westport Avenue in Norwalk.
On the mall’s second floor, popular video game retail chain GameStop has indicated a new store is “coming soon” to the SoNo Collection, according to a sign on display Thursday afternoon.
