BROOKLYN, NY — Six live sheep were spotted running through Bushwick on Friday afternoon.
Bushwick local Cole Horton said he saw the sheep running down Weirfield Street in Bushwick between Wyckoff Avenue and Irving at 1 p.m., with three men chasing after them, one on an electric scooter.

“I was eating lunch when I heard shouting coming from outside,” Horton said. “I went to the window to investigate and saw a flock of sheep trotting down the street, followed closely by a man on a scooter and two guys running on the sidewalk. The sheep did not seem thrilled or particularly cooperative, and after they reached the end of the street, they split up and started running back and forth down the block for about [five] minutes.”
“I had to join a work call, so I’m not sure how it ended,” Horton said, adding that he hoped the sheep did not end up at the butcher down the street.
The butcher did not yet respond to a request for comment.
