The final Raw episode of 2015 confirmed one of the conclusions from DVR viewing research that viewers are watching some part of the beginning, fast-forwarding through the middle, and skipping ahead to the end of Raw.
The episode on Monday, December 28 captured that with these wild swings in DVR viewing:
First Hour: 3.695 million live viewers +457,000 DVR viewers for a total of 4.152 million viewers
Second Hour: 3.488 million live viewers +393,000 DVR viewers for a total of 3.881 million viewers
Third Hour: 3.425 million live viewers +516,000 DVR viewers for a total of 3.941 million viewers
Raw averaged 3.536 million viewers + 453,000 DVR viewers for a total average of 3.989 million viewers
The big jump in third hour DVR viewing came from all demographics.
Adults 18-49 added 0.22 rating (vs. 0.18 and 0.17 the other two hours).
Females 18-49 added 0.12 rating (vs. 0.10 and 0.09 the other two hours).
Males 18-49 added 0.31 rating (vs. 0.27 and 0.24 the other two hours)
Adults 25-24 added 0.23 rating (vs. 0.21 and 0.17 the other two hours)
