Talk of WWE Hall of Fame inductees usually begins to ramp up from January to March, but it appears that we may already know the majority of the Hall of Fame entrants this year. The Warrior Award has not been named yet, but the typical celebrity, tag team, posthumous, female athlete, and headliner have all been reported by Brad Shepard, the same blogger who potentially broke the news of Vince McMahon resurrecting the XFL. There is no confirmation on this list of WWE Hall of Fame inductees, and the list could always change, but it is also very possible that the following names could very well be the next WWE Hall of Famers:
Goldberg – The class of 2018 will reportedly be headlined by the former WCW and Universal Champion. Goldberg rose to prominence during his run in WCW when he managed to obtain a reported 173-0 undefeated streak in singles competition. He had a small run in WWE in 2003 before returning to the company in 2016. He won the Universal Championship earlier this year and went back into retirement after losing the title to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33.
Ivory – The female inductee into the Hall of Fame this year will be former wrestler and manager Ivory. Ivory got her start in the pro wrestling business when she joined the original Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW) promotion before working for WWF during the ‘Attitude Era’. She was a member of the Right to Censor faction, and she is a three time Women’s Champion.
Kid Rock – Despite the Hall of Fame not having a celebrity inductee in 2017, singer and rapper Kid Rock will reportedly be joining this year’s class. Kid Rock has provided numerous pay-per-view theme songs for WWE over the years with his song Greatest Show on Earth for Survivor Series 2017 being the most recent example. Kid Rock also provided the entrance theme for The Undertaker during the early stages of his biker gimmick in 2000.
Bam Bam Bigelow – One induction that fans have been longing to see will reportedly be happening at the 2018 Hall of Fame. Bigelow is a former WWF, WCW, and ECW wrestler. He is cited as one of the most naturally gifted “big men” in all of wrestling, and he is also a former ECW World Heavyweight Champion. He passed away from a drug overdose at the age of 45 back in 2007.
The Dudley Boyz – Competing in several promotions all of the world (most notably WWE, TNA, and ECW) Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley are considered by several fans to be part of one of the greatest tag teams in professional wrestling history. Both have won the tag team titles several times in most promotions they have competed in, and Bubba Ray Dudley is a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion. The Dudleys also train wrestlers at the Team 3D Academy in Kissimmee, Florida.
EXCLUSIVE: The 2018 class of the WWE Hall of Fame is currently as follows:
Goldberg
Bam Bam Bigelow
Ivory
Dudley Boyz
Kid Rock
