During last night’s live event in Hamptons, West Virginia, some fans noticed something that could be quite devastating. Raw superstar Finn Balor wrestled a match against “The Drifter” Elias Samson whilst wearing Kinesio tape on his shoulder. This is the same shoulder that Balor injured a while ago that kept him out of action for months. Some fans have claimed that Balor may be just selling an injury from Samson on Raw, but others have pointed out that he was not wearing the tape during the previous night’s live event in Fayetteville, North Carolina. If this does turn out to be legitimate, it would mean that Balor is currently working through an injury.
Former WWE Superstar John Morrison has been in the news quite a bit as of late. It was recently announced that he would be joining Global Force Wrestling for the first time in his career on a couple of the company’s upcoming live events. Now Morrison has confirmed via social media that he has landed a role in the next installment of the popular Sharknado film series. The film series is about to release it’s fifth installment on the Syfy network under the title Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. The series has had wrestling guest stars such as Seth Rollins, Kurt Angle, Maryse, and Chris Jericho in the past. Morrison will be taking on a small role in the film which is set for a television release on August 6th.
Much like John Morrison, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has teased his own upcoming movie on his social media pages, but this is not just any movie. The Rock has announced that he has teamed up with Apple to create a new movie that will be released for free on Apple’s YouTube channel. The untitled movie will see Johnson team up with Siri and what he has pitched as “the biggest, coolest, craziest, dopest and most over the top movie ever”. No word on what exactly this “movie” will entail, but it sure does seem to have the potential to be talked about quite a bit when it comes out. The new blockbuster will be available tomorrow on July 24th.
