British shirt maker Thomas Pink has teamed up with former special forces
officer turned entrepreneur Neil Laughton, to celebrate the launch of its
travel capsule collection.
The collection, which features a wool/mohair navy blue two piece suit as
well as a series of easy-iron shirts in a number of prints and colors, was
especially created to be versatile for travellers. “Our customers are
frequent travellers and although time poor, they put a lost of emphasis on
looking immaculately turned out – which is why we created a range of pieces
that deliver on style and functionality in equal measures,” said Frederik
Williams, Head of Design at Thomas Pink.
The travel capsule collection also includes two non-crease reversible
jackets and a raincoat, which feature a formal and casual side to be used
in numerous occasions. Prices for the collection range from 69 pounds for a
non-iron traveller shirt to 715 pounds for the non-crease suit.
To mark the collection launch, Thomas Pink enlisted Laughton to star in a
film entitled ‘Travel by Neil Laughton.’ The film, which also marks the end
of the brand’s ‘Which Shirt Are You?’ campaign follows Laughton in the
collection describing his most recent attempt to climb Mount Everest when
the earthquake in Nepal struck.
