On Wednesday, Daniel Bryan released a statement on what was the three-year anniversary of his retirement.
The WWE Champion took to social media today to comment on the milestone, which he can now look back on as he has been cleared and has already returned and risen to the very top of the ranks in WWE’s SmackDown Live brand.
“February 8, 2016 I was forced to retire in my home state of Washington, told I’d never wrestle again,” wrote Bryan on Twitter today. “Feb 5, 2019, almost three years to the day, I return home as WWE Champion.”
Bryan concluded with the hash-tag, “#FightForYourDreams.”
