At Monday night’s post-Survivor Series edition of RAW in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Bill Goldberg confirmed our earlier reports about signing an extension with WWE to work at the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January.
In front of a sold out crowd at the Air Canada Centre, the third straight night WWE ran the venue following Sunday’s Survivor Series and Saturday’s NXT TakeOver: Toronto shows, the wrestling legend announced that he will be competing in the 30-man over the top battle royal.
“At the Royal Rumble match, EVERYONE is NEXT,” said the longtime WCW star, who returned to the ring for the first time in 12 years on Sunday night with a victory over Brock Lesnar in under two minutes.
WWE Royal Rumble takes place live on the WWE Network and on traditional pay-per-view from the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday, January 29, 2017.
