Massimiliano Allegri is in no rush to return to management and is considering taking time off from football.
Allegri is leaving Juventus after a trophy-laden five seasons with the Serie A club.
He has won the league title in every season he has been there along with four Coppa Italias.
The prize Juve most covet is the Champions League and Allegri has twice lost in the final.
The 51-year-old is sure to have a number of suitors – but he has made no decision just yet.
“When there is an opportunity, I will return to the bench, otherwise I will take a year off,” he told DAZN.
“If I have the opportunity to choose, I will choose a team that I like. Concrete offers? Still no. Talking about the future now makes no sense.”
Chelsea and Bayern Munich have been touted as possible destinations for the Italian but there is unlikely to be a decision made soon.
Allegri leaves Juventus in a good place having won the league by 11 points and he believes they will still be the title favourites for next season despite a change in manager.
“Whoever arrives will find a team clearly stronger than the others,” he added. “There is a 90 per cent chance of winning the league again.”
