Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is set to sign a new four-year deal, according to reports.
The 23-year-old made 22 appearances during the 2018/19 campaign in a breakthrough season at Old Trafford.
And The Sun claim Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was impressed by Pereira’s displays and wants to tie him down to fresh terms.
The Brazil international’s contract runs out next summer after United triggered a one-year extension in March.
Pereira scored a stunning goal from 25 yards in a 3-2 win over Southampton before starting in the club’s 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
After extending Pereira’s contract by an extra year, Solskjaer said: “He has gone through the academy, he has loads of energy and drive.
“Maybe we found a better position for him. He is more of a No8 or 10 than a six.
“Young kids when they get criticism, there is nothing better than seeing them grab their chance.”

Pereira had loan spells with Granada and Valencia before being given a first-team chance under former boss Jose Mourinho last summer.
