Sportswear and children’s wear are two of the fastest rising categories in
fashion, which is why perhaps Adidas’ Yeezy brand with Kanye West is
launching for kids.
The company announced it will debut the Yeezy Boost 350, a mini-me version
of its successful trainer which last year changed the look of athletic
footwear.
Like the original model, the shoe features a moccasin-type construction
with a breathable, flexible adidas Primeknit upper for an enhanced fit. A
responsive all-rubber outsole offers superior traction, while premium suede
overlay on the medial arch yields extra support.
Despite smaller in size, the hefty price tag for an infant version is the
same as that of the adult size, retailing for 130 euros or 130 dollars,
when it is released globally on August 27.
