With the NFL regular season finally coming to a close, the holidays winding at an end, and children across the United States returning to school, this week’s WWE RAW saw a much-needed leap forward in viewership.
Monday night’s show did an estimated 2,326,000 viewers, tuning in to see the crowning of a new Intercontinental Champion in Bobby Lashley, and a Fatal 4-Way main event that included John Cena and Finn Balor to find Brock Lesnar’s Royal Rumble challenger. That’s an incredibly impressive 17.0% increase week-over-week.
Next week’s episode of WWE RAW will be the go-home show heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday Jan. 27th, so we’ll see if viewership can continue to crow heading into the 2019 Road to WrestleMania.
