As noted, WWE issued a statement earlier today announcing Hulk Hogan has been reinstated to the WWE Hall of Fame after serving a three-year “suspension” due to comments Hogan made several years ago.
Hogan has since issued a comment on Twitter, noting he met with WWE stars backstage at tonight’s Extreme Rules PPV. Additionally, PWInsider.com is reporting Hogan issued an emotional speech to the WWE locker room, apologizing for the racially insensitive comments he made years ago, and warning talents to be careful about what they say, as it can have a major impact on their careers.
Furthermore, the WrestleVotes Twitter account is reporting Hogan has signed a return deal with WWE following his reinstatement to the Hall of Fame, however it is unknown how long the deal is for or if it’s simply a one-off for the Hall of Fame.
Just met with the @WWE Superstars and on all levels the volume of love and support was overwhelming. I’ve been praying for this day and I finally feel like I made it back home. Only Love 4 the #WWEUNIVERSE brother HH

Per source, Hulk Hogan & WWE have agreed to terms on a contract allowing him to return. He is in Pittsburgh, home of tonight’s PPV. I cannot confirm whether he will make an appearance in some form at Extreme Rules. Time will tell.
