PROGRESS Wrestling has made a major announcement this week, revealing that a top WWE UK stars only independent date will be on its show in New Orleans.
WWE UK Champion, Pete Dunne will be appearing at one of the two PROGRESS shows over WWE WrestleMania weekend, on the 6 April.

This will be his only independent date of the entire WrestleMania weekend, despite the amount of top indie shows that will be taking place that weekend. It is highly likely that the reason he is only able to do one show over the weekend is that he will be booked up with WWE commitments.
Dunne will very likely be used at Axxess for live matches and meet and greet purposes and could also be used by WWE NXT, which we have seen in the past.
PROGRESS has put together a strong line up for its WrestleMania shows which happen on both the 6 and 7 of April in New Orleans. The company announced Jeff Cobb for both events earlier in the week and names such as Travis Banks and Matt Riddle are already confirmed.
