A host of top clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal, are thought to be in the race for Chalov’s signature.
And according to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool have joined the hunt as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season.
However, the Premier League trio face stiff competition from abroad, with German interest coming from Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
French side Monaco and Spanish club Sevilla are also tracking Chalov ahead of a potential bid.
The Russia international, who has been at CSKA since he was eight, is understood to be valued at around £20million.
As well as his league-leading 15 goals, he also bagged seven assists last season, making him a good fit for Jurgen Klopp’s front line.
