John Cena Reportedly Sued By Ford Motor Company For Selling His Supercar
TMZ.com is reporting Ford Motor Company is suing WWE star John Cena, to the tune of $500,000, for selling his 2017 Ford GT.
Ford claims Cena violated his contract with Ford by selling the car, as he was selected to purchase the car out of thousands of applicants, and the deal stipulated that Cena keep the car for at least two years before selling it.

The lawsuit, which was filed in Michigan, claims Cena only kept the car for a short period of time before flipping it for a big profit. In the lawsuit, Ford is asking for Cena to forfeit the profits of the sale to the company, plus pay additional damages.
A Ford spokesperson issued the following statement to TMZ:
“Mr. Cena has unfairly made a large profit from the unauthorized resale flip of the vehicle, and Ford has suffered additional damages and losses, including, but not limited to, loss of brand value, ambassador activity, and customer goodwill due to the improper sale.”
