Maria Mir, her husband Syed Saifuddin Javed, his brother and another relative were travelling on two bikes when they got into an argument with a car driver.
They had slowed down their bikes near overflowing sewage to avoid the mucky water when a luxury car sped past them, splashing it all over them.
Angered by this, the two bikers confronted the car driver, who hit them with his vehicle instead of slowing down.
Saifuddin, who was with his wife on another bike, tried to stop the car from fleeing, but the driver drove the Mercedes right into their vehicle.
All four bike passengers were injured and admitted to a hospital.

According to the police, Reddy, a real-estate businessman, was driving a car owned by a relative.
He was initially booked under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of IPC, but Section 302 (murder) was added after Maria’s death.
“He did it intentionally and as a result the couple fell off the bike. Unfortunately, Maria suffered a head injury that led to excessive bleeding. She was shifted to a local private hospital where she succumbed while undergoing treatment on December 20,” Raidurgam inspector M Mahesh said.
