Barcelona-based Catalunya Radio claim Beckham has reached out to Messi with a ‘huge deal’ to be the face of the new franchise.

The Barcelona star can remarkably leave the LaLiga giants for free at the end of the season, but it is believed they want to give him a ‘lifetime contract’.
The radio station claim the Argentina international’s advisers have quoted huge demands, which may not be feasible for Inter Miami.
If Beckham can convince Messi to sign it would be a huge coup for the club and MLS.
Any move would appear unlikely, however, with LaLiga’s all-time record goalscorer a committed one club man.

Barca president Josep Bartomeu played down the chances of the club’s superstar leaving in the summer.
He said: “I doubt he’d want to play for another club, but he has earned liberty over his future.
“He’s a big Barca fan and I have no doubt he’ll want to continue until 2021 and we hope another year too.”
