Arsenal host Crystal Palace on Sunday in the hope of regaining some momentum in their Premier League campaign.
The Gunners were defeated by Sheffield United last time out in a hugely disappointing performance which led to questions over Unai Emery’s suitability for the job.
However, thanks to summer signing Nicolas Pepe they bounced back with a victory over Vitoria in the Europa League with the Ivorian’s two superb free-kicks sealing a win over their Portuguese opponents.
All eyes are now back on Emery this weekend as his side face an in-form Eagles side at the Emirates.
Mesut Ozil has not featured in the last five matchday squads, with head coach Emery offering little explanation as to his surprise decision to ostracise the highest-paid player in the club’s history.
Roy Hodgson’s men have had a solid start to the campaign and sit in sixth, but were defeated by champions Manchester City last time out.
But how could both sides line-up for the clash? talkSPORT.com has given its verdict…
Bernd Leno will resume his natural position in goal for the Gunners, the German will be keen on adding another clean sheet to his tally this season with just two shut-outs recorded so far.
Emery also has both Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin at his disposal for the match.
The pair have been rebuilding fitness and both played 90 minutes against Vitoria in midweek, however, Emery has insisted he wants to give them time to return so he will likely play Sead Kolasinac and Callum Chambers on the flanks.
David Luiz and Sokratis will pair up again at the heart of the defence.
Arsenal’s standout player of the season, Matteo Guendouzi, will partner Granit Xhaka at the base of the midfield, with youngster Joe Willock just ahead of them.
Bukayo Saka was rested in midweek and he will most likely play on the left wing having cemented himself as a first team regular in recent weeks.
Pepe, the hero for the Gunners in midweek, will be keen to build on his brilliant display on the right flank.
Talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has netted seven goals already this term, will lead the line once more for Arsenal.
Palace will be without Vicente Guaita in goal, with Wayne Hennessey filling in for him against City, while central defender James Tomkins should keep his place with Martin Kelly still sidelined with injury.
Patrick van Aaanholt and Joel Ward will continue to burst down the flanks, while James McArthur, Luka Milivojevic and Cheikhou Kouyate will make up a powerful midfield three.
Arsena’s summer transfer target Wilfired Zaha and Jeffrey Schlupp will occupy the wings, with Jordan Ayew to lead the line once more for the Eagles.
