Leicester City posted an emotional video in tribute to Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha one year on from his tragic death.
The club’s chairman was killed in a helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium on October 27, 2018.
Staff members Kaveporn Punpare and Nusara Suknamai and pilots Eric Swaffer and Izabela Lechowicz were also killed in the crash.
The Foxes posted the perfect tribute video to Khun Vichai on the first anniversary of his death.
The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Memorial Garden was also opened on Sunday, which is a peaceful space designed to protect the scene of the accident and form a permanent tribute to those who died.
Thousands of fans also took part in the tributes the club held last weekend before their home match with Burnley.
Srivaddhanaprabha was a popular figure with Leicester fans after buying the club for £39million in 2010.
Under his ownership, he helped clear the club’s debts and got them promoted back to the top flight.
His finest moment came when they remarkably won the Premier League title in the 2015/16 season in one of sport’s most incredible success stories.
