The fashion and sporting goods companies which are sponsoring a uniform for an Olympic Team this summer certainly have the Midas touch: the media attention around the event is huge. In
the run up to the Summer Olympics kicking off on August 5 in Rio de
Janeiro, the competing teams Olympic uniforms have been revealed. Watch
the designs which have already been revealed by the likes of Stella
McCartney, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste and H&M.
Cuba is hip, and not just as a tourist destination. And that makes the country also more interesting for sponsors. The Cuban athletes will probably look the most glamorous comparing to all teams. In collaboration with the French online provider SportyHenri.com shoe designer Christian Louboutin equips the Cuban delegation.
They provide the equipment for the formal occasion off the sporting competitions. A particular challenge for Louboutin: the custom-made shoes for wrestler Mijaín López Núñez. He has shoe size EU 51.5.

The Swedish athletes of the Olympic Team will be dressed once more by
H&M. In 2013, H&M signed a four-year contract with the Swedish Olympic
Committee, which stated that H&M not only provides the clothing for the
opening and closing ceremonies, but also for training and leisure time in
the Olympic village.
Fashion retailer H&M recently unveiled the first looks for its new
technical high-fashion sports collection, , which has been developed in
collaboration with the Swedish Olympic team. The For Every Victory
collection is set to launch on July 21, with prices ranging from 3.99
pounds for a headband to 29.99 pounds for the leggings, and 39.99 for the
jackets.

It is also not Stella McCartney’s first time round designing an Olympic
outfit. Two years ago, the British designer also designed the British teams
uniforms in collaboration with Adidas. This resulted in about 590 items for
900 athletes.

Just as in 2012, the… the American fashion designer Ralph Lauren
presented the US team’s outfits in the national American colors navy, red
and white. The outfits will be worn during the closing ceremony of the
Games.
