Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are injury doubts for Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday.
Rashford, who scored both goals in Wednesday’s 2-1 Carabao Cup win over Chelsea, and Lindelof were forced off in the second-half at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Maguire appeared to pick up an injury, but stayed on with United out of substitutes.
Solskjaer, whose team’s game with Bournemouth is LIVE on talkSPORT, said: “It’s still early.
“Hopefully we can get them back on the pitch tomorrow.
“They had some treatment yesterday, a little more treatment today, a light session and hopefully they’re ready. I can’t exactly tell you now.”
The injury doubts are a concern for United, who have won their past three games in all competitions.
The weekend starts with talkSPORT where SIX games are live across the network
The potential absences of Maguire and Lindelof could lead to Solskjaer partnering Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo in defence, with Axel Tuanzebe sidelined with a hip issue.
Solskjaer also discussed other topics during his press conference, and you can read the best bits, below…
“They’re not ready for tomorrow, that’s the update. Probably after the international break.
“That is always the risk if you push them back too early, but if we have the two extra weeks after the international break, they should all be ready for then.”
“He’s been excellent. Him and Fred work in a good relationship.
“They’ve played well together, they did that last season at PSG, there were a few games there when we had a few injuries and now they’re working as a pair.
“But Scotty’s a leader, a Man United boy, he’s come through the ranks, you can see he’s been a striker with the goal he scored at Norwich on the half-turn.
“He’s developing into a very good midfielder.”
“Since Anthony [Martial] has come back Marcus has blossomed, he’s probably happier facing goal, being direct, driving at people, taking players on rather than being a target man with his back to goal.
“But Marcus wants to master all the skills, he’s only just turned 22, maybe as a two with Anthony, maybe as a three like we did against Norwich or wide like we did against Chelsea.
“There are different ways of playing with Marcus and it was important for him, and for me, that he stepped up for that penalty against Chelsea.”
“It’s hard to evaluate after just 10 games and some cup games, but there have been some fine margins.
“We’ve played really well at times. We’ve developed a team spirit, an identity, more intensity, aggression in the team and suffered a bit from injuries.”
“That’s football, sometimes you get the luck of the dice.
“The game on Wednesday night was decided by an unbelievable strike by Marcus, in Partizan we defended really well, great last ditch defending there, and Norwich I think that was a good game.
“The confidence is getting better, players back from injury helps.”
“It’s going to be a tough game, they’ve got quick forwards running in behind, direct, Josh (King), Callum Wilson, (Dominic) Solanke, (Ryan) Fraser, their attacking prowess.
“It is quite surprising they didn’t score (in October) but (it’s) probably fine margins as well and they haven’t conceded lots of goals.
“Hopefully we score the first goal because they are also very dangerous on set-plays.”
