Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad Associate Professor Krishnamurthy Subramanian has been appointed as the new chief economic adviser, replacing Arvind Subramanian, who left the office in July earlier this year.
Subramanian, is currently an associate professor of finance (with tenure) and executive director for the Centre for Analytical Finance at the ISB has been appointed as the CEA for a period of three years.

He also serves on the boards of Bandhan Bank, the National Institute of Bank Management and the RBI Academy.
