Los Angeles – Moschino just announced a special joint-showing for its
newest upcoming collections. On June 10, the couture brand will show its
men’s spring 2017 collection alongside its women’s resort 2017 line.
The new lines will be presented by designer Jeremy Scott, who has also held
the position of creative director of Moschino. The runway show will be
featured at L.A. Live in the heart of downtown. Last year, Moschino showed
its men’s fall collection and women’s pre-fall in London. The reason for
the move was motivated more by Scott’s native homage to the city. “As I’ve
been a Los Angeleno now for over a decade, the thought to transplant my
Moschino show to the West Coast for a special showing has been on my
[mind],” he told WWD. The show will be the brand’s debut for both
collection on the West Coast.
The Italian fashion house has garnered an elite reputation for its luxury
ready-to-wear, leather accessories, shoes, luggage, and more. Scott has
served as creative director of the fashion house since 2013. His first
collection for Moschino was shown in fall 2014. In the past, Scott also
worked with Adidas, Katy Perry, and his own personal collections.
