Recent history between the two sides favours Chelsea with the Blues winning five of the last seven Premier League meetings.

Chelsea have won three of the last four clashes between the two with the last defeat coming on the final day of the 2017/18 season when a Dwight Gayle opener and two Ayoze Perez goals ensured the points stayed in the north east.
