WME-IMG, the entertainment and sports management company that owns and
operates a number of fashion weeks around the world including in New York
and Australia, is launching an all-fashion channel on Apple TV.
Entitled Made2Measure (M2M), the channel will feature fashion content
including unscripted original content, as well as acquired fashion-related
series, documentaries, feature films, news segments and runway shows.
A highlighted programme is a talk show hosted by fashion journalist
Glenn O’Brien, where the GQ ‘The Style Guy’ columnist will have one-to-one
conversations with influential figures in the fashion, art and film
industries. Dubbed ‘Tea at The Beatrice,’ the 20-minute showcase will
feature guests including Gisele Bündchen, Proenza Schouler’s Jack
McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, The Man Repeller founder Leandra Medine,
and photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
There will also be a programme dedicated to Made Fashion Week, a
platform for emerging talent that WME-IMG acquired earlier this year. The
show will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the runway show featuring
rising New York designers including Baja East, Adam Selman, Area and Chris
Gelinas.
M2M will debut exclusively as a stream on-demand channel for Apple TV,
and then it has been reported that the channel has acquired a broader
distributor, although further details have yet to be revealed.
