Sportswear retailer New Balance has teamed up with British heritage
footwear company Grenson to create a new collaborative, sneaker. Based on
New Balance popular 576 sneaker silhouette, the Made in England 576GRB
sneaker is said to bring together the best of both companies.
Bearing the trademarks of the brogue, which Grenson is known for, the
resulting sneaker made from calf-skin was created in both Grenson’s
Northampton factory, and New Balance’s UK factory in Flimby, Cumbria, in
order to guarantee the finest quality.
Available from January 9, 2016 in limited quantities online at Grenson.co.uk,
and in selected Grenson stores in Soho and Lambs Conduit London, the brogue
sneaker will later be released at elected speciality retailers across the
globe from January 23.
