Bournemouth have signed Netherlands international Arnaut Danjuma from Club Brugge, the Premier League club have confirmed.
Danjuma, the winger, joins after agreeing a long-term contract with the Cherries to become their fourth signing of the summer, following Lloyd Kelly, Jack Stacey and Philip Billing to the Vitality Stadium.
The 22-year-old makes the move to the Premier League after an impressive season with Brugge in Belgium, during which time he won international recognition with the Netherlands.
Formerly of PSV Eindhoven and NEC Nijmegen, Danjuma scored six goals and created a further four in 24 games last season, and also netted his first international goal in a 1-1 draw with Belgium.
He is understood to have cost Bournemouth around £13.7million.
“Coming to AFC Bournemouth is a really good step up for me,” Danjuma told afcbTV.
“The Premier League is a great place to play your football, especially at a club like this.
“I’m excited to be here. The last 24 hours have been a bit crazy but I’m delighted to be at the club and I’ve only heard positive things about it.
“I think the way the team plays suits my style, I like to attack and I cannot wait to get started.”
