Burnley boss Sean Dyche has slammed Arsenal’s players for ‘diving’ in his side’s 2-1 defeat at the Emirates on Saturday.
Ashley Barnes had cancelled out Alexandre Lacazette’s opener before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s second-half strike ensured Arsenal’s 100 per cent start to the season continued.
Gunners manager Unai Emery was believed to be upset with a member of Burnley’s coaching staff after he allegedly failed to shake his hand at full-time.
Speaking to talkSPORT’s Sam Matterface about the incident, Dyche said: “I have no clue about that. If you want to talk about disrespect let’s concentrate on the bigger picture of football – and nothing to do with Arsenal.
“There were people falling all over the place today. I went to a Premier League meeting recently, I learned the maximum that can happen for absolute cheating, even with VAR, is a yellow card.
“So think about that. It means every single game, every single Premier League player can cheat at least once a game knowing you’re only going to get a yellow card.
“Name me another professional sport where you can physically get told ‘you can cheat at least once’ and you just get ‘don’t do that again’. I find that incredible.
“Today was a measure of that and it’s got to stop.
“I have to remind everyone how clear I am with this, we’re not talking about gamesmanship, we’re not talking about cleverness, we’re not talking about someone who taps you in the box and you go down, that’s been there for 100 years.

“We’re talking about no one touching anyone and people falling on the floor.
“If you didn’t see them then that’s up to you, but I think we all know that we did see them.”
