— Sources are saying that at least one wrestler named in the media stories as turning up in the Internet pharmacy client list will not be suspended by WWE. That should show that everyone named by the media is innocent until proven guilty. Granted, most of them probably are guilty, but every single wrestler listed isn’t. Thus far, fourteen people under contract to WWE have been named in the media — an additional one was fired yesterday in Mike “Simon Dean” Bucci. According to WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt, eleven wrestlers in all have been suspended by WWE.
— If you look at the front page of WWE.com, there are absolutely no feature stories on any of the wrestlers named in connection to the corrupt Signature Pharmacy firm. The only front page stories on WWE.com are on Hacksaw Jim Duggan, the 2007 Diva Search, Taker’s return at Unforgiven, Matt Hardy & MVP, Great Khali & Rey, and a few other random things not involving outed talent. It may be a mere coincidence, but it’s definitely worth thinking about.
— WWE is set to begin an international tour next week and was contacting talent yesterday previously not scheduled to make the trip to tell them they had been added. Of course, this is all due to the eleven talents being suspended in the last two days, hence the sudden change of plans.
