After both of WWE’s former UFC Stars lost their respective championships, what is the future for both Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey in WWE?
As of right now, the former Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar is not advertised for any WWE dates in the future, which includes tonight’s WWE Raw. Whilst Lesnar has secretly re-signed with WWE several times before, it is believed his latest contract expired last night.
Lesnar is expected to be making a return to the octagon at some point this year, with ESPN’s SportCenter claiming that the Beast was in talks with UFC last week for a fight with Daniel Cormier, which has been rumored for a while now.
In terms of Ronda Rousey, who lost her Raw Women’s Championship last night after being pinned for the first time in WWE, she is being advertised for tonight’s show, unlike Lesnar. However, in a similar way to the Beast, Rousey is currently not advertised for any shows moving forward.
Ronda Rousey originally signed a multi-year deal with WWE, meaning she is under contract still, but she is expected to be taking a break with WWE for the foreseeable future. Considering she also reportedly broke her hand last night at WrestleMania, it is unlikely she will be involved in anything physical tonight, but WrestleMania should not be her final match.
