FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State wrestling program secured its highest rankings yet in both major team polls released on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
The Bison came in at No. 20 in the latest Intermat rankings – an improvement of one spot over last week in the NCAA Tournament strength poll. NDSU is No. 21 in the new USA Today/NWCA/AWN Division I Coaches Poll, marking the highest ranking in the school’s Division I era in the dual strength poll.
“I think it’s exciting for our fans and our community to see the program listed among the top 20 in the nation,” said NDSU head coach Roger Kish. “I know our guys see it as a stepping stone. We need to keep improving as we move through the season.”
