In an unexpected moment to close out this Monday night’s show, Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to become the brand new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

The “Monster Among Men” was originally supposed to face AJ Styles for the U.S. Championship, but the match was cut short when The O.C. stormed the ring and caused the bout to end via disqualification. After Rollins came to his rescue, a match was officially booked with the tag belts on the line.

This is probably not going to result in a happy ending for everyone, however, as Braun hasn’t been able to take his eyes of the Universal Championship over the past two weeks.

This is Rollins fifth reign as tag team champion, with four different partners throughout his career. This is actually only Strowman’s second reign with the titles, although it’s his first time not teaming with a pre-pubescent child.
