We have breaking news coming out of an action-packed night for WWE Smackdown Live. AJ Styles has defeated Jinder Mahal to become the new WWE Champion for the second time in his career.

Styles will now advance to Survivor Series on November 19th to face the reigning, defending WWE Universal Champion and “Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. Many are considering this to be something of a “WrestleMania-worthy” dream match, and it should be very interesting to see who comes out on top when Styles and Lesnar finally collide for the first time ever.

On his massive list of accolades compiled over the course of a 19-year career, Styles has now won the WWE Championship, NWA World Heavyweight Championship, TNA Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Heavyweight Championship twice, each.
