Scottish cashmere brand Brora has launched a new designer collaboration
with Eudon Choi for autumn/winter 2015.
The 15-piece collection has been inspired by 1970’s après-ski and
includes sweaters, capes and scarves, as well as accessories such as hot
water bottle covers, with key pieces featuring knitted images of googles,
skis and poles.
Commenting on the collaboration, Eudon Choi said: “I was drawn into ’70s
with my main collection for AW15 which was inspired by a Japanese
Architecture movement from the era, I really wanted to create a link
between my main collection and Brora collaboration.
“For the Brora range, there were so many great vintage ski-ware pieces
that I could look into and the shapes and designs somehow felt very Brora
and also very fresh. There were some great colour blocking ideas as well as
a lot with different knitting techniques with multi colour yarns knitted in
to create the textures effects.”
The collaboration will be available at Brora’s flagship on Sloane
Square, select boutique shops in places like Marylebone High Street,
Westbourne Grove, and Madison Avenue, as well as online.
Prices range from 85 pounds for accessories and from 155 pounds for
knitwear, with 5 percent of all proceeds being donated to Child Bereavement
UK.
