Any fan of professional wrestling during the 1980’s and 1990’s will remember Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake. Beefcake competed in WWE and in WCW under multiple different monikers, but he is still best known by wrestling fans these days for his infamous “Barber” gimmick. Unfortunately, it appears that the wrestling legend is now in need of help and he is calling on the fans to assist him. Beefcake is requiring funds to help him pay for his knee surgery. He has a GoFundMe page currently set up and he has currently raised about $500 of the $7000 goal that he is seeking. Beefcake has posted MRIs of his injury online. Feel free to check out Beefcake’s GoFundMe page right here.

One of the most exciting and dynamic wrestlers in North America is unquestionably Ring of Honor’s Dalton Castle. Castle’s unique gimmick is truly one of a kind and he has become a huge fan-favorite over the years. Additionally, he is currently the reigning ROH World Champion. Castle had been advertised to wrestle in an 8-man tag team match last night, but he was unable to compete in the match. According to a report from PWInsider, Dalton Castle is currently dealing with back injuries severe enough that it will require him to miss some a few weeks of in-ring action. ROH is hoping that Castle will be able to be back in time for the Best in the World pay-per-view next month.
The 205 Live experiment is still developing within WWE at the moment. WWE has rebranded the cruiserweight-exclusive show into more of a competition-based series over the past few months with the goal of someday launching 205 Live as its own unique touring brand. WWE tested this earlier in the year when they hosted some 205 Live events. Several months have gone by now without any mention from WWE relating to more live events for the cruiserweight division. According to a report from PWInsider, WWE is holding off on doing more 205 Live events until the brand can find a new identity for itself. As of right now, there are no plans to host any more live events for 205 Live.
