London – Burberry launched its first ad campaign since merging its three
brands Prorsum, Brit and London under one Burberry label.
The campaign – a celebration of British creativity – reunites Burberry’s
favourite photographer Mario Testino alongside model Edie Campbell and
actor Callum Turner, as well as introducing artist Edward Hall.
Hall created portraits and still-life illustrations of the models and
products. Hall himself is a 26-year-old former interior designer, is being
hailed as the next big name to come out of the British art scene,
Burberry is using the campaign to promote British art with Hall’s work on
show in its Regent Street, London, flagship from June 11 until month-end.
The star product in the campaign is the new patchwork bag, each one of
which is unique.
