MCLEAN, VA — Call Your Mother, the popular D.C. bagel shop, has opened a permanent space next to Le Village Marche in the Chesterbrook Shopping Center.
This should be good news for McLean foodies who love the “Lil Deli” truck that Call Your Mother parked at Chesterbrook in the spring of 2023.
Federal Realty Investment Trust, the owner of the shopping center, announced in May that Call Your Mother would open in a permanent spot at Chesterbrook sometime this fall. Technically, it’s still summer, but who’s going to complain?
Call Your Mother has seven locations in Washington, D.C. and three in Maryland, as well as three in Denver, Colorado. The McLean location is the second the company has opened in Virginia. The other is located at 1300 King St. in Old Town Alexandria.

“Owners chef Daniela Moreira and Chief Doughboi Andrew Dana, began this wild and wonderful journey at farmer’s markets in DC,” according to the company’s website. “After opening our flagship shop in Park View in the Fall of 2018, it was clear that folks in our community needed MORE CARBS! Since then, we’ve assembled a dream team and opened up several new locations throughout DC, Maryland and alllll the way across the country in Denver, Colorado! We’re on a mission to spread #bagellove to everyone with an appetite and our next stop might be your back yard (figuratively speaking)!”
Call Your Mother’s permanent shop at 6232 Old Dominion Drive in McLean is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Customers can order online. Orders available for pickup and delivery.
