Tottenham could be drawn in this season’s Champions League group of death but Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City also fear tough European draws.
The Champions League draw takes place next Thursday in Monaco with all four English teams set to find out who they’ll have to face as they bid to be named European champions.

Remarkably, England has three of its four participants included in Pot 1 of the draw, with Liverpool (2018/19 Champions League winners), Chelsea (2018/19 Europa League winners) and Man City (2018/19 Premier League winners) all among the eight highest ranked teams in this year’s competition.
The remaining teams in Pot 1 are Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Zenit Saint Petersburg, who are all included as 2018/19 champions of Europe’s five highest ranking domestic leagues.
The final Premier League side, Tottenham, who finished runners-up in last season’s Champions League, are included in Pot 2 due to their UEFA ranking.
Only Pot 1 is officially confirmed as Pots 2, 3 and 4 can be altered following the final round of qualifying play-offs next week

Spurs‘ lower ranking has them fearing being drawn in this year’s group of death.
They could face any team from Pot 1, aside from their English rivals, and also Inter Milan from Pot 3 and RB Leipzig from Pot 4.
Many would consider Barcelona to be the strongest foreign team in Pot 1, though Bayern, Juventus and PSG are hardly less feared.
The best-case scenario for Spurs would be being drawn alongside Pot 1 minnows Zenit, as well as Club Brugge from Pot 3 and Pot 4’s Genk.
Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool, being in Pot 1 themselves, automatically avoid the heavyweight opponents Tottenham will have to face.
However, they could be drawn alongside Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund, all of whom are in Pot 2 for 2019/20.
