The lead at the top of the Championship table changed hands once again as Leeds climbed to the summit with a win against Queens Park Rangers.
In the early kick-off, Swansea had gone into first place thanks to a last minute winner but they lasted less than three hours at the top.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side had dropped points in both of their previous two games, and won just once in their last four, but got back on track at Elland Road on Saturday.
Tyler Roberts netted six minutes before half-time to give Leeds the lead. Jack Harrison then sealed the three points eight minutes from time with a second
Hull City moved to within three points of the play-off places as their good form continued with a 3-0 win over Fulham.
Scott Parker’s side missed out on a chance to close the gap on the leaders and remain five points off the pace at the top.
Josh Bowler had opened the scoring after 10 minutes before the result was sealed by Jarrod Bowen in the 57th minute. Tom Eaves then added a third six minutes from time.
It is now the third win in a row for Hull as they continue to climb the table.
Cardiff City came from behind to beat Birmingham City 4-2 at home despite going down to ten men.
Birmingham had gone ahead after just four minutes through Kristian Pedersen before Joe Ralls equalised for the home side.
Curtis Nelson put Cardiff ahead after 37 minutes to give them a 2-1 lead at the break.
Danny Ward was given a straight red card after 53 minutes but despite being a man down Ralls found a third to seal the three points.
There was some late drama, though, as Ivan Sunjic grabbed a second before Ralls scored his hat-trick to make it 4-2
