Charlotte Flair denied any ill will toward Nia Jax after it appeared Jax mishandled two moves in a match on WWE Raw which put Flair’s safety at risk, according to an interview with USA Today.
Jax’s first mistake appeared to come when she tried a shoulderbreaker where she was supposed to drive Flair’s shoulder into her knee, but Flair’s head went into her knee instead. Keen observers to the video believe you can see the concern on Jax’s face briefly after she then dropped Charlotte on her neck to the mat.
Later in the match, Flair attempted a moonsault off the top turnbuckle while Jax was out of the ring, and Jax failed to catch her, resulting in a hard to watch moment where Flair’s head bounces off the ground when she lands.
Here is video of the two moves:

Here is what Charlotte told USA Today when asked about the match:
“It didn’t really affect me … That’s up to the viewer on how they viewed it that it looked nasty. It’s going to take a lot more than dropping me on my head to keep me down. … Knock on wood, I haven’t missed a live event, I haven’t been injured. I know my body and I’m think I’m extremely well-trained. I looked at it as, ‘Hey, bring it. I’ll see you next time, woman.’”
A day after the scary moments in that match, Charlotte moved to SmackDown Live in a trade during the Superstar Shakeup. She will likely challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in short order against Noami, who won the belt from Alexa Bliss in a six-pack challenge at WrestleMania 33.
