Callum Hudson-Odoi reportedly ‘looks ready to commit’ to Chelsea.
The Blues have been hoping to tie down their star youngster to a new deal before his current contract runs out at the end of this coming season.
According to Mail Sport, Hudson-Odoi is now in advanced talks with the club and there are positive signals that suggest he will put pen to paper.
Bayern Munich have been pursuing the 18-year-old for several months now, first making bids for him in January before returning this summer.
However, Chelsea are unwilling to sell the currently injured man and want him to ink a new five-year deal like Ruben Loftus-Cheek did earlier this month.
When asked for an update on Hudson-Odoi, new manager Frank Lampard said: “With Callum of course I want him to sign and stay here,
“He’s a player who’s come through the academy, he’s a player who can be a big player for Chelsea and England. We as a club as a whole want him to stay, for sure.

“I think he knows he has a manager here who wants to work with him to improve, and that takes hard work.
“Nothing is given, especially when you’re 18 years of age, but with all the attributes Callum has we want him to come through at Chelsea and be a big player for us now and in the future.”
