Christian Eriksen may be leaving Tottenham but must be prepared to ‘give 100 per cent’ for the team while he’s still there.
This is the view of former Spurs striker Louis Saha, who suggested that the Dane’s desire to leave the club has had an effect on his performances this season.
Eriksen’s contract at Spurs is set to expire this summer so there’s been a huge amount of speculation surrounding his future.
Inter Milan are understood to be the frontrunners to sign him and Spurs will want to cash in on the player if he is not going to sign a new deal.
Spurs secured the loan signing of midfielder Gedson Fernandes earlier this week which could pave the way for Eriksen to go to Italy.
However, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho suggested Eriksen will play a part in their Premier League match at Watford on Saturday.

And Saha urged Eriksen to try his best even if he is desperate to secure a move elsewhere.
Saha said: “The main thing for Eriksen is for him to remain professional and gives 100% for the team. If he is picked to play, he must try his best.
“It is a responsibility within his contract that he must do so.
“He hasn’t been performing well, I don’t think it is a case of him being not motivated, it’s normal for his form to dip and this transfer speculation has all come to a head.
“Players aren’t robots, they are humans and he may have insecurity about his future.

“He’s still trying hard and running the most kilometres of all the players. It’s about getting the right confidence.
“He’s a terrific player, Tottenham need creativity and as a player he needs the sense of freedom to fully perform.”
