CM Punk’s career as an MMA fighter continues on despite his loss to Mike Jackson at UFC 225 earlier this year. Punk will now be returning to the world of MMA very soon, but not to fight in the octagon again, but rather to serve as an announcer. It has just been announced that CM Punk will be a color commentator for MMA promotion Cage Fury Fighting Championships. Fans of the former wrestling world champion may remember his brief run as a commentator during his time in WWE, which received a ton of praise at the time. Punk will call his first show on December 14th, and the event will be airing live on the UFC Fight Pass streaming service. Punk commented on his new job by stating the following in a press release:
The hits keep coming ?? and we’re just getting started!

“CFFC has a long history of putting on exciting fights featuring some of
the sport’s up-and-coming athletes. This card is going to be a lot of
fun and I’m really excited to have the chance to be a part of it.”
Roderick Strong is currently an NXT Tag Team Champion along with Kyle O’Reilly, and Marina Shafir was signed to a WWE contract earlier this year. Shafir was introduced on WWE programming during Evolution a few weeks ago when she helped Shayna Baszler regain the NXT Women’s Championship from Kairi Sane. What fans may not know about these two NXT Superstars is that they have been engaged for quite some time. This past Wednesday, Strong and Shafir were officially married. Strong posted a photo of the two of them during their wedding, and several WWE competitors have congratulated them both on tying the knot. The couple had been engaged since 2015, and Shafir gave birth to their first child, Troy Veniamin Lindsey, last year.

Brock Lesnar just reportedly signed a new deal with WWE, and he has already managed to regain the Universal Championship. Although most fans have assumed that Lesnar will continue to feud with Braun Strowman, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that WWE officials are considering a few different opponents for Lesnar. It was noted that Seth Rollins insulting Lesnar for his recent title win was likely done to set up a possible program between the two current champions. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre has also been brought up as a possible opponent since WWE is clearly pushing him at the moment. Lesnar’s next match will see him face AJ Styles in a Champion vs. Champion match at Survivor Series.
