When answering a question from a fan online, Cody Rhodes confirmed that AEW will never run an event during a WrestleMania weekend.

Whilst most companies all flock to wherever WWE is hosting WrestleMania each year to piggyback off the large crowds of wrestling fans, AEW isn’t going to follow the traditional party line of doing that.

The company had made it clear they wouldn’t be running a show or making any appearances during this years WrestleMania weekend, but Cody has revealed that AEW will never run a show during WrestleMania weekend, stating that it is WWE’s week.

We won’t be doing Mania’ weekend ever friend. That belongs to WWE.
