One fan questioned why AEW signed Orange Cassidy on social media yesterday and AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes justified the decision.

Rhodes was asked why AEW would sign Cassidy when the company is trying to be a serious, sports-based company, and he responded immediately, claiming that he is a great fun pro wrestler. He continued by stating that the show is sports-based, but every competitor brings something different to that show.
