AEW’s Cody Rhodes responded to a fan during a Q&A on Twitter about who he blames for the Stardust gimmick not working in WWE.
The fan asked why Vince McMahon didn’t understand it, but Cody responded saying he doesn’t blame him more than he blames himself, claiming he worked hard but not hard enough.
Cody went on to state that to go from undesirable to undeniable took a lot of sacrifices, reality checks and he had to do the work to be anything less than the guy at the top.
I don’t really blame him more than I blame myself. I worked hard, but at the time…not hard enough. To go from undesirable to undeniable took a lot sacrifices, reality checks, & most importantly I had to do the damn work. I don’t want to be anything less than the guy at the top. https://t.co/aQfdZgMSOo
