New York – Up and coming Chinese fashion brand Comme Moi has just unveiled their
fall/winter collection, which includes five pieces developed along with The
Woolmark Company. The brand is celebrating their second year in business,
as they staged their first runway show in 2014.
Designer Lu Yan staged this season’s runway show Monday at the Yintai
Centre.
The capsule collection includes a sleeveless dress, a long skirt, a
sweater, slim trousers, and a peacoat.
Called “The China Rouge” collection, the pieces were crafted from
Australian wool. The retailers it will be sold at include Dong Liang, Lane
Crawford, and of course Comme Moi’s own stores. Price points for the
collection are expected to range from 225 dollars to 1202 dollars.
Comme Moi is enjoying a slow rise to stardom. Lane Crawford and Joyce
president Andrew Keith called them a label to watch. Voice of America also
referred to them as one of the Chinese labels challenging Western labels in
a recent article.
