Shawn joins the show talking about his debut in TNA in June with the World X Cup tournament. He said he wasn’t sure he would have been signed after his debut but it worked out.
Shawn gives us his opinion on trained wrestlers being managers in the business. He sees it as an advantage and enhances the match. He talks about coming into TNA as a wrestler not as a manager like he did in the WWE. He feels his TNA run will be a way to reintroduce him to the fans.
Shawn talks about what guys in the WWE were fans of TNA and other
independents. It’s more of being a wrestling fan than anything else. He said some guys in WWE don’t even watch their own show. Shawn talks about UFC and why he’s not really a fan. Shawn expresses that he’s not a really a fan of any other sports.
Shawn talks about who he would like to work with in TNA. He rolls off a list of TNA main eventers. He adds Booker T saying that maybe this will happen soon. He runs down the list and gives reasons as to why he would like to wrestle these guys.
Shawn worked with Kurt Angle in WWE and Kurt helped get Shawn into TNA and he would love to do something with him.
Shawn started in Minnesota and he talks about the insurgence of guys from the area working in the WWE and TNA. Kennedy, Punk, Bam Neely and others. He talks about the indy circuits and how you see the best and worst of what’s out there.
Shawn talks about the differences in the TNA locker versus the WWE.
