WWE’s YouTube channel shared a teaser clip from its Break It Down series, with Drew McIntyre discussing how he got his second name.

For those unaware, Drew’s real name is Drew Galloway, which is what he used prior to joining WWE, and what he used in between his two runs with the company. But that is something that WWE opted to change when he first joined the company and debuted on television.

“Stephanie McMahon says to myself and Michael Hayes, “Is Drew Gallows your real name?” I said yes, and she said we’d need to change that. I’m on in literally 10 minutes, so we ran to talent relations and he told them to Wikipedia and search a Scottish name. I needed three syllables that fans could chant if I got good one day. So Mc-In-Tyre, yeah, that’s good. We ran straight back and told the ring announcer, but if you look closely on the titantron, you’ll see it says Galloway.”
